The Riebeek Valley Handbook is published annually in October / November. It is A4 full colour throughout and contains more or less everything you are likely to want to know about the Valley. The cover shows pictures drawn by Louwena Brand of farm workers. The originals currently hang at het Vlock Casteel

 

 

 

 

 

 

We have published a book on the Valley with a highly original title - The Riebeek Valley.It is a full colour A5 publication (64 pages) full of photographs and watercolour drawings by Tony Grogan. It goes into greater detail on some aspects of the Valley than the Handbook including history, farming, wild life and flowers. You can read about the ghosts of the Oude Kerk. There is also a unique decorative map and a couple of recipés for good measure.

There are two editions - a standard paper back edition and a de luxe edition.

The de luxe edition is hand bound in cow hide and linen with the title gold blocked on the spine. This edition is limited to 50 copies and each one is individually numbered and signed by the author and Tony Grogan. The paperback edition is shown above and the de luxe version below.
